FAQ
Are my files uploaded to a server?
In File Date (OS) mode, files are processed entirely in your browser memory and never leave your device. Only HWP/PPT (Pro) mode uploads the document for metadata editing, and it is deleted immediately after processing.
How do I receive the modified files?
Browsers cannot write file dates to your disk directly, so you download a ZIP containing the files with the new timestamps. Extracting the ZIP gives you files with the created/modified date you set.
Does it change the photo EXIF capture date?
For JPG/JPEG photos, the EXIF capture time (DateTimeOriginal) is rewritten to the same timestamp along with the file date. Photos without EXIF data only get their file date changed.
Is it free?
Yes. Both File Date (OS) mode and HWP/PPT (Pro) mode are free. Pro mode supports up to 4.5MB per file.
